Dual policy

The images and videos of the widespread protests in France, accompanied by the obvious violence of the protesters and the French police, remind us of the fall of 1401; Where all the European governments, including France, supported the people on the streets of Iran, defended their demands and demanded non-violent treatment of the Iranian protesters.
But some time later, these false gestures and politicking of the French were exposed, and the events that are happening today on the streets of different cities of this country in protest against the killing of a 17-year-old youth by police bullets show that this is a common political issue.
The interesting thing about the French protests is the position of the president of this country regarding the role of social networks in the street riots of this country. Macron has openly talked about the role of new media in fueling the French protests and is seeking to impose restrictions on social network users. Let's put this next to his position regarding the events of last fall in Iran to understand the double standards of the West and it is strange that at the same time, these seemingly democratic positions of the Westerners had stolen the hearts of some of our countrymen!
In fact, human rights, freedom of speech and democracy are for the third world; They must submit to Western values and if they disobey, you will be punished, but for Westerners, these interpretations are applicable as long as they do not harm their national security. Except for these ambivalences in the speech and actions of the French, the riots in this country carry a much more important message than the issues raised above. That governance is based on facts and this is the principle that rules everywhere in the world.
The violence of the French police against the protesters is basically incomparable compared to the treatment of the Iranian police forces. The French government is clearly confronting the people of this country and they have no problem expressing this. Just as the prime minister of this country talks about the necessity of deploying armored vehicles to deal with the people of this country, and Macron draws his red line of attacking government places and considers it certain to deal with them, but in Iran, the security forces with minimal equipment and sometimes empty-handed They confronted some people who had entered the protest square in the guise of protestors but with guns in their hands for assassination and vandalism.
The realm of freedom is to the extent that it does not harm the national security, public comfort and order of a country, and if it is otherwise, the political system will deal with it. Iran, France, America and other countries do not have it either; The right to protest and demonstration, human rights and freedom, has a border, and if the people of any country in the extremes of the world cross this border, other values will be sacrificed at the foot of security.
